Description
This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe was sold new from Wehrs Chevrolet of Bangor, Wisconsin, in March 1970, and it was the subject of a custom build completed in 2019 that included chassis modifications as well as the installation of a supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8, a Tremec six-speed manual transmission, and a Strange 9″ rear axle. Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes were installed along with a Checkered Racing front suspension kit and a Detroit Speed Quadralink rear suspension setup with adjustable coilovers. Additional equipment includes a center console, an aftermarket digital stereo, a Vintage Air climate-control system, and Dakota Digital gauges as well as a dual exhaust system, an aluminum radiator, and 17″ Rally-style wheels.
The car is finished in metallic green and features full-width chrome bumpers, front and rear spoilers, dual door mirrors, and quad taillights. Paint chips and scratches are pictured in the gallery below along with spots of cracking and checking.
