Description
This 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a Canadian-market car finished in Le Mans Red that has been modified with an Akrapovič exhaust system, RENNtech carbon-fiber exterior trim, a carbon-fiber Black Series-style rear wing, an aftermarket steering wheel, H&R lowering springs, and 20″ and 21″ Brixton Forged wheels. Further features include carbon-ceramic brakes, gullwing doors, extended carbon-fiber interior trim, heated power-adjustable seats trimmed in Designo black leather, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and carbon-fiber engine bay trim. Performance is provided by a 6.2-liter V8 linked with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The car is finished in Le Mans Red (434U) and features gullwing doors with pop-out handles as well as bi-xenon headlamps, straked front fender vents, Parktronic parking sensors, and power-folding mirrors with carbon-fiber caps. Exterior modifications include the following:
- RENNtech carbon-fiber front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser
- Black Series-style carbon-fiber fixed rear wing
- Gloss black vinyl wrap on aluminum trim pieces (removable)
- Carbon-look vinyl wrap on fuel filler cap (removable)
- Clear paint protection film on hood, front bumper, and front quarter panels
- Black vinyl stripes on hood and front bumper cover (over top of PPF)
- Akrapovič quadruple exhaust outlets with carbon-fiber and mesh trim
Staggered-width Brixton Forged wheels measure 20″ in diameter up front and 21″ out back and are mounted with 275/30 and 325/25 Pirelli P Zero tires said to have been recently installed. Stopping power is provided by gold AMG-branded brake calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors at all four corners. H&R lowering springs are installed.
