Description
This 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport SportsRoof was first delivered to Warren Wooten Ford of Cocoa, Florida, and the seller reportedly acquired the car in Missouri in 2016. The car was subsequently refurbished, which involved rebuilding the 429ci V8, refinishing the exterior in green, and reupholstering the interior. Equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, a 3.70:1 limited-slip differential, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, 14″ wheels with Deluxe covers, air conditioning, and an AM radio.
The car was finished at the factory in Bright Green Gold Metallic, and the body was removed from the frame and refinished in dark green with a gradient side tape stripe. Exterior features include a hood scoop, quad headlights, dual body-color side mirrors, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets. The weather stripping, window channel, window felt, windshield, and rear window were also replaced under current ownership.
Steel 14″ wheels wear Deluxe wheel covers and Coker Tire-sourced G70-14 Firestone Wide Oval tires. The car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted front disc brakes.
