Description
This 1970 Ford Torino GT convertible was sold new by Wilson Sales Co. in Fairmont, West Virginia, and remained with one family for more than five decades before it was acquired by the selling dealer in October 2023. The car is powered by a 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in blue metallic over blue vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a replacement power-operated white soft top, staggered-diameter Billet Specialties wheels, power-assisted four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, power steering, a ceramic-coated exhaust system, hideaway headlights, and a retro-style digital radio.
The car was delivered new in Medium Blue Metallic (Q) and was repainted at some point under prior ownership. The power-operated white convertible was also replaced, and additional exterior details include a blue parade boot, color-coordinated side stripes, a hood scoop, a front air dam, hideaway headlights, and chrome-finished bumpers. The selling dealer notes paint blemishes on the top of the right front fender and the right rear quarter panel.
Billet Specialties 17″ and 18″ wheels are mounted with 205/50 front and 235/55 rear Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted black-finished Wilwood calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
