Description
This 1969 Ford Torino is said to have remained registered in California since new and was acquired by the seller in 2011. A refurbishment included refinishing the body in blue and rebuilding the 351ci Windsor V8 and three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a 3.89:1 limited-slip differential, Comp Cams camshaft, Edelbrock cylinder heads, exhaust headers, a dual exhaust system, an FMX 2,300-rpm stall torque converter, a Redline Stage 1 clutch, an MSD ignition system, a Champion aluminum radiator, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, traction bars, a hood scoop, and an aftermarket stereo.
The car was reportedly refinished in its original Gulfstream Aqua under current ownership. Exterior details include a hood scoop, chrome mirrors and trim, and Torino, GT, and 351 badging.
Polished 14″ Eagle Alloys wheels are mounted with 225/60 front and 245/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with traction bars and power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. A set of GT-style wheels is included in the sale.
