Description
This 1968 Buick GS 400 convertible is one of 2,454 produced for the model year and was purchased by the current owner in 2007. It underwent a refurbishment in 2013 that saw the car refinished in gold with a power-operated black soft top over a black vinyl interior. It is powered by a replacement 400ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and is equipped with 15″ Rallye wheels, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, supplementary instrumentation, a Custom Autosound stereo, a Hurst shifter, and Flowmaster dual exhaust.
The car left the factory in Ivory Gold Mist (G) and was repainted as part of the refurbishment in 2013. Exterior equipment includes a power-operated black convertible top, quad headlights, front and rear chrome bumpers, quarter vent windows, a hood scoop, Gran Sport badging, and bright trim.
The 15″ Rallye wheels are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.
