Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro convertible was refinished in red over black under prior ownership and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car was purchased by the seller in 2022, and subsequent work has included overhauling the suspension, servicing the drum brakes, replacing the power steering pump and gearbox, and repairing the air conditioning system. Equipment includes an SS-style hood and badging, black side stripes, a center console, front and rear spoilers, and 14″ sport wheels.
The body was delivered from the factory in Fathom Green and was refinished in red under prior ownership, reportedly over 20 years ago. Exterior features include a replacement black convertible soft top, SS badging, black side stripes, dual side mirrors, front and rear spoilers, and chrome bumpers. The seller notes chips and dings in the paint as well as rust-through in the passenger-side rocker panel.
The Chevelle-style sport wheels are mounted with p215/70 r14 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and the power steering pump and gearbox were rebuilt in 2024. The suspension was overhauled under current ownership with Eaton coil springs, Moog ball joints, and replacement leaf springs. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel drums.
