Description
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was acquired by the seller in 2006 and subsequently underwent a rotisserie refurbishment that involved installation of replacement body panels, an adjustable coilover suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and a 350ci V8 paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in blue with a white nose stripe and wears RS-style hideaway headlights, front and rear spoilers, and 17″ Torq Thrust–style wheels. Inside, the seats are trimmed in Parchment vinyl and accompanied by a digital media receiver and a retrofitted air conditioning system. Further equipment includes a Hurst shifter, a line lock system, power steering, and a limited-slip rear differential as well as a dual exhaust system with four-into-one headers, an X-pipe, and Magnaflow mufflers.
The car left the factory finished in Fathom Blue and was fitted with a replacement hood, tail panel, trunk pan, floors, rockers, fenders, and quarter panels prior to a repaint as part of the aforementioned refurbishment completed under current ownership. A white nose stripe, SS badging, RS-style hideaway headlights, chrome bumpers, and front and rear spoilers are further details.
The 17″ Torq Thrust–style wheels feature polished rims and are mounted utilizing wheel locks. BFGoodrich g-Force Comp-2 A/S tires wear white white decals and measure 235/40 and 275/40 out back. Tubular front control arms are paired with a four-link rear setup, and adjustable coilovers have been fitted at all four corners. The car is equipped with power steering along with an aftermarket center drag link and external cooler, while braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs.
